Students Reaching Out (SRO) is a youth development program that provides skills and opportunities for high school and middle school youth to make positive changes in their communities. The program focuses on youth-led prevention projects that allow students to become empowered leaders.

The student developed mission for Students Reaching Out is to empower youth to become agents of change in the creation of safe and drug free communities. 

School Sites:

Valley High School - Elk Grove Unified School District
Samuel Jackman Middle School - Elk Grove Unified School District

**Students at Valley High School and Samuel Jackman Middle School are also part of the Valley Hi Youth and Adult Coalition (VHYAC)
