SPANISH Parent-Teen Workshop Lead Facilitator
People Reaching Out is currently interviewing MFT Interns for a part-time hourly position as Lead Facilitator for our Parent-Teen Workshops offered in Spanish. The position requires facilitation of two 8-week and one 5-week workshop series per year on Thursday evenings from 6:00-9:00 pm, with an additionl half-hour before and after for set-up and clean-up; use of the curriculum provided; some translation; and, support of marketing efforts through attendance at events, fairs and other marketing venues.
The Lead Facilitator must be bilingual and bicultural in Spanish/English with a strong understanding of the issues involving parenting adolescents, including acculturation issues; be proficient at facilitating groups of 20-25 parents and teens; have ability to coordinate facilitation with facilitators of the teen group; and be organized and flexible. Life experience is a plus. Hourly rate ranges from 16.50-18.50/ hour and will be pursuant upon experience and knowledge.
